We spent the first four nights in Bangkok, the first two we were nearly afraid to head out. We were right on Khao San Road, that combined with the unnatural heat was quite overwhelming! We eventually ventured out and all we can say is Bangkok is mental with plenty to see, the senses have been bombarded with all the colour, smells and tastes ha… the clothes in the markets are unreal and for next to nothing we wish we hadn't packed any other clothes ha. The street food is exceptional, pity about all the other vendors trying to haul you in for a tailor made suit! We also took a tuk tuk (first time in a tuk tuk) and visited a temple in Bangkok called Wat Pho or The Reclining Buddha. Beautiful temple however the heat is still a bit much for us yet!
