I’m delighted to bring you the first instalment in my new photo series titled ‘Photo of the Week’. Below are the crashing waves at Altona Pier on the outskirts of Melbourne. We feel so lucky to be living near the water and with blue skies and beautiful clear waters, can you blame us?
There is a beautiful pier alongside the esplanade here at Altona stretching out about 300m to sea. As you come to the end of the pier you witness uninterrupted views of the water which is quite break-taking. Even looking back towards to beach you can really appreciate the vastness of the beach in all its glory especially on evenings like this one below!
